I am a HUGE fan of lip products. Even when I'm not wearing makeup, you can be sure I've got some sort of lip balm/gloss in my pocket at all times. I've also become more interested in green products since starting my blog: I never realized just HOW MANY products we can buy that are environmentally friendly and inexpensive.
Eco Lips has been kind enough to provide me with 3 lip balms and a Gold balm on an Eco Clip for review, and will be giving a Gold balm on an Eco Clip to one winner in my 25 Crazy Dayz Giveaway starting tonight!
Eco Tints Sugar Plum - This one is a darker shade of Plum and has a natural shimmer just like its description says. I thought I would try this out because I am VERY fair-skinned and sometimes the darker shades look silly on me. This was just the right balance of tint so it still looked natural even next to my light skin. The only down side for me was that it doesn't smell and taste very good, but I will continue wearing it because it isn't too bad.
Honest Kids Tropical Tango Punch - My daughter who is 3 years old loves this one. It smells good, tastes good, and is very smooth without being sticky. She normally bugs me all day to put more "lip stuff" on her, but we only put this on once or twice a day and there has been significantly less chapping.
Grape - This is just what you would expect it to be; a grape lip balm. Great grape flavor and it is VERY smooth going on the lips. For me, this one is a step above the others concerning the length of time it stays on. I don't find myself reaching for it right after I'm done eating or drinking like I would with my other lip balms. My daughter gave this one a thumbs up as well.
You can check out Eco Lips on Facebook and Eco Lips on Twitter for more information on all of their products. I see these lasting longer than my normal lip products because I don't apply them as often, and I absolutely will buy more once these are gone. If you are interested in buying green products I would definitely recommend Eco Lips!
